I Was There

I was there when you are crying at the back of the class, I was there to wipe those tears, I was there to hear what you have to say, what you want to say, I was there to ease your burden, to wash away all the pain, I was there by your side that night, protecting you from the creatures of the night, keeping you comfortable and warm, I was there waiting for you to be safe, I was there when you are lonely, I was there for you! But you pushed me away, and where were you when I need you the most?
